I was thinking about my Dad's photography from the 1950s. I just loved his camera (and I was able to use it in the 1960s and 1970s) and the photos he created with Kodachrome slide film.
Below is a recent photo of his camera, a German-made Kodak Retina IIIC. As I recall, the model was owned by enthusiasts who couldn’t afford a Leica.
The other photos are from our trip to California in 1955 and our return to Massachusetts a year later. My brother and I are in a few of them. Great memories!
